Little Black Dress Wines and HC Invite Women to “Accessorize Responsibly”
In spring 2009, HC helped Little Black Dress Wines form a partnership with Zappos.com and execute a unique special event to launch the 2009 the brand's "Accessorize Responsibly" campaign that benefits the national charitable organization, Dress for Success - which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and career development tools.
HC brought Little Black Dress Wines, the perfect "accessory" to any occasion and Zappos.com, the one-stop-shop for fashion accessories together to show women nationwide the proper way to accessorize their LBD - and support a great cause.
On April 7, 2009, Little Black Dress Wines and Zappos.com launched the campaign in New York City by hosting an exclusive media event at the Hudson Hotel. HC secured celebrity and style expert Daisy Fuentes to serve as the "Accessorize Responsibly" spokesperson and completed a series of exclusive briefings with top-tier fashion and food writers, giving them the opportunity to speak with Fuentes and learn firsthand the best ways to accessorize an LBD and taste Little Black Dress Wines.
Prior to the event, HC worked with Little Black Dress Wines and Zappos.com to promote the launch which resulted in a series of media hits including an item featuring the Fuentes appearance in the New York Post's Page Six column. The event itself was attended by more than 40 top-tier media including reporters and editors from: Lucky, Beverage World, Women's Day, People, Women's World, Us Weekly and O Magazine among others.
Through the "Accessorize Responsibly" campaign, Little Black Dress Wines and Zappos.com plan to host a celebrity accessories and LBD auction in the fall of 2009 to support Dress for Success.
