HC Promotes the Gift of Life

HC was recently selected by the Institute for Transfusion Medicine (ITxM) which owns and operates the LifeSource blood bank in Chicago and the Central Blood Bank in Pittsburgh to develop and implement a series of wide-ranging public relations initiatives for both organizations. As part of its ongoing relationship, HC will create awareness of the ongoing need for blood donations by leveraging its strong contacts in the entertainment and sports industries and tapping into its relationships with key Chicago, Pittsburgh and national media. In addition, HC is developing and helping implement an ongoing series of media-friendly events to generate additional blood donations, supporting a paid media campaign featuring celebrities and professional athletes and promoting the blood banks FDA variance to treat Hereditary Hemochromatosis patients free of charge through phlebotomy.
