Caroline Barnard

After graduating from Central Michigan University in May of 2009 and moving to Chicago shortly after, Caroline eagerly jumped into the world of PR. She joined HC in the fall of 2009 as an intern and was quickly brought on to the team in December. 

At HC, she works on various accounts including Chicago restaurants HUB51, Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab and R.J. Grunts, as well as national clients Little Black Dress Wines and the Western Pistachio Association.

Caroline carries out a variety of tasks such as media outreach, media material development and strategic story pitching, while cultivating relationships with key media. From event planning to industry communications, she works all angles of PR.

Prior to working at HC, Caroline was an intern at DTE Energy and worked in their corporate communications department where she wrote for their monthly print publication Connections. While at Central Michigan University she also wrote for their campus newspaper CM Life.

Caroline graduated with a B.S. in Journalism and English at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
