Jen Schefft Waterman
Jen Schefft Waterman joined Henson Consulting in June 2009, bringing with her a diverse background in marketing and public relations. With more than 5 years experience in consumer and lifestyle PR, Jen is working on a variety of accounts including Little Black Dress Wines, Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, Hub51, The Children's Heart Foundation and Chicago Bear Robbie Gould's non-profit, The Goulden Touch Foundation.
Prior to joining HC, Jen worked at Weber Shandwick managing programs for clients such as Kraft, Oscar Mayer, Unilever, Masterfoods and Electrolux ICON Home Appliances. She successfully created major media buzz for her clients, securing placements in outlets like "The View," "Entertainment Tonight," New York Post, Us Weekly, The Chicago Sun-Times, Shape, People Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle and Woman's Day.
You may also know Jen from her stints on ABC's "The Bachelor" in 2003 and 2005's "The Bachelorette." In 2007, she penned the relationship advice book "Better Single Than Sorry: A No-Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling."
A graduate of Ohio University, Jen graduated summa cum laude in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She now resides in Chicago, Illinois with her husband, Joe Waterman, and their dog Cooper.
