Hey there, foodies! It’s time to get re-inspired with crafty and fruity drink choices to complete a perfect summer day. Here are this week’s hotspots:
The Dawson in River West will help you cool off those end-of-summer scaries that are slowly approaching. Try the Chef’s popular shot pops, with options including strawberry mint and peach & blueberry.
Another colorful popsicle treat? Cityscape has views and craft cocktails that are to die for. The restaurant’s Poptails use frozen prosecco popsicles to enhance the beauty and taste of your drink.
Four of our favorite words: Coffee, toast, whiskey and beer. At Little Toasted, the menu revolves around these four items. Try the strawberries & crème toast with rose-whipped ricotta and mint dust!

Heineken and Tribeca Studios are working together to gain support for the giant public pool that they hope will soon be build in New York City. The project has been in the works since 2010 and is now being executed thanks to the help of local architects and designers. Heineken and Tribeca Studios are still working with investors to raise the $20 million needed to build the shaped pool. Their goal is to have this pool serve as a call to action to clean and filter NYC’s river as well as create a swimming hole for New Yorkers. The pool will accommodate 28,000 people per day.
